Our beloved Father, Grandfather & Great Grandfather-Bernabe Lopez Medrano, 97 of Austin was called home by our Heavenly Father on May 16, 2010. Preceded in death by his wife Nicolasa Medrano.Survived by his Sister-Ambrosia Trevino; Sons- Bernabe Medrano Jr. (Linda), Antonio Medrano, Jose Medrano (Yolanda), Jesus Medrano, and Robert Medrano (Rosalinda); daughters- Julia Alicea (Andres), Eva Lugo and Mary Jennings (Rod), 26 grand children, 64 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited Tuesday at 7:00p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Requeim Mass will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, with Father Dean officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Assumption Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Grandsons: David Barba, Christopher Lugo, Ramon Deleon, Benny, Bobby, Joseph, Marco and Matt Medrano. Honorary Pallbearers will be Great Grandsons: Nicolas Ruedas, Alejandro Barba, Justin Medrano and Eric Medrano. The family would like to thank Odyssey VistaCare Hospice Foundation for their continuous care of their father.
