Pete M. Lopez Jr. 1939-2010 Our beloved Pete M. Lopez Jr., age 70, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, April 18, 2010.
He was preceded in death by his parents Pedro M. Lopez Sr. and Augustina B. Lopez; brother Joe A. Lopez and son Ricky Orosco.
Mr. Lopez is survived by his loving wife Julia; daughters Clo Lopez, Brenda Gonzales, Rachel Ruiz, Regina Martinez; sons Steve Hernandez, Carlos Lopez, Nick Lopez, Ricky Orosco, Ruben Rodriguez; 32 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters Louisa Sosa , Juanita Cardenas, Judy Torres and brother Jim Lopez.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass 10:00 a.m., Friday at San Jose Catholic Church 2435 Oak Crest. This will conclude services for Mr. Lopez.
Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Lopez, Xavier Ramirez, Robby Ivey, Russell Peterson, Benny Lopez Jr. and Andy Ramirez.
Honorary pallbearer will be Raymond G. Lopez.
