Rosie Perez Reyna 1941-2010 Our beloved Rosie Perez Reyna, age 68, of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, April 10, 2010. She is joined in Heaven with her father Isaac ?Ike? Perez Sr., her mother Lena Salazar, her sisters Olivia Estrada, Rachel Gabriel and Son Gilbert ?Guero? Zapata Jr. Rosie was a beautiful loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She welcomed all with open arms. Rosie passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She will be greatly missed. The family would like to say thank you to Heart to Heart Hospice for their support in our time of need. She is survived by her husband Salvador Reyna Jr.; children Steven Zapata, Marshall Fabela, Paul Philip Reyna, Stella Zapata, Audrey Reyna; brother Juan ?Panson? Salazar; sister Debbie Luna; grandchildren Stephen, Cory and Zachary Zapata; Jacob Chairez, Isaac Salvador Reyna, Francesca Reyna; numerous nieces and nephews. Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian burial 10:00 a.m., Thursday at San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Joe Aleman Jr., Allen Guerrero, Juan Robert Reyna, Oscar Guerrero, Jeff Salazar and James Alba. Honorary pallbearers: Gabriel Luna and Timothy Botello.
