Rosa V. Hernandez 1928-2010 Our beloved mother Rosa V. Hernandez, age 81, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, February 18, 2010.
She is survived by children Jessie Gonzales (Vickie), Mary Escobedo (Tom), Rosalinda Medrano (Robert) and Emily Rodriguez, Celestino Gonzales Jr., Jimmy Gonzales; 13 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Monday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mrs. Hernandez will Lie in State beginning at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday at Dolores Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian burial to follow at 10:00 a.m. Internment will take place at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday at Marble Falls City Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kelly Escobedo, Jesse Gonzales, Xavier Martinez, Bobby Medrano, Michael Ruedas and Joshua Mosqueda.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ana Escobedo, Peggy Contreras and Elaine Gonzales.
