Jesus (Jesse) Barrientes Reyes 1951-2010 Our beloved Jesus B. Reyes, age 58 resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, February 1, 2010.
He was preceded in death by Father Martin A. Reyes; grandmother Guadalupe Saldana; grandfather Gabriel Saldana and aunts Janie Villanueva and Janie Nanez.
Mr. Reyes is survived by his loving wife Maria Gaspar; children Lilliana Reyes; Debbie Reyes, Jesse Reyes Jr., Angelo Reyes, Adriana Reyes, Regina Reyes; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; mother Pauline Reyes; brother Robert Reyes, Amando and Paul Reyes; sisters Gloria Reyes, Rosemary Frazier, Lucy Bohannan, Susan Terrell, Virginia Reyes and Irene Reyes; uncle Manuel Nanez.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian burial 10:00 a.m., Thursday at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Robert B. Reyes, Pete Cortez, Arnulfo Gaspar, Sergio Moreno, Froilan Gaspar, Jesse Reyes Jr. Joe Nanez, Angelo Reyes , Barbara Reyes, Amando Reyes and Eriberto Mendez.
