Lucy H. Mercado, 61, of Austin passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2010. Preceded in death by her Parents; Manuel, Sr. and Juanita Hernandez, 2 Brothers and 4 Grandchildren.Survived by her Husband; George Mercado, 4 Sons; Gilbert Ybarra, Jr., Antonio Ybarra, Johnny Ybarra, Edward Garza, 5 Daughters; Cindy Ybarra-Reyes, Melissa Martinez, Juanita Ortiz, Christina Contreras, Guadalupe Contreras, 2 Brothers; Pedro C. Hernandez, Alejandro C. Hernandez, 3 Sisters; Victoria Garcia, Guadalupe Cantu, Mary Helen Ayala, 31 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren, 4 Step-Sons; George, Jr., Hector and Carlos Mercado, John Jr. Contreras, 2 Step-Daughters; Elvira Martinez, Mary Mata, and her Caregiver; Yvonne Hernandez.
Holy Rosary, Sunday at 6:00pm at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Funeral Mass, Monday at 10:00am, Dolores Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Albert Ruiz officiating. Burial in Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be members of the family.
