Our beloved Mr. Marcelino V. Limon, age 69, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, September 28, 1999.Mr. Limon served his country faithfully in the Korean Theater C Btry 63rd division and was the recipient of Korean service medal with one bronze star, U.N service medal, National Defense service medal, and R.O.K. press unit citation.
Dad, you honored God, you honored your family, you honored your friends, you honored your country, We honor you. May you rest in peace forever in our Hearts.
He was preceded in death by wife Virginia L. Limon; Parents, Rodrigo and Margarita Limon; Brothers, Pvt. Julio Limon I, Julio Limon II; sister, Jovita Limon. Survivors include: sons, Robert R. Limon, Ronnie Limon; grandson, Justin R. Limon; brothers, Andrew Limon, Joe Limon, Vidal Limon, Isidro Limon, Eliseo Terrazas; sisters, Concepsion Limon Regina Limon, Mary Arzola, Dora Ruedas. all of Austin, Felicitas Moreno of Dallas, TX,.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude toward Robinson Creek Hospice, Shella, Anna, and cousin Paul (Chuy) Herrera.
Recitation of rosary Thursday, 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday, 10am at San Jose Catholic Church. Rev. Kirby Garner C.S.C. will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Jesse Pulido, Pete Botello, Joe Garcia, David Limon, Rick Moreno, Julio Limon.
Honorary pallbearers are Frank Hipolito, Gabriel Garcia, Thomas Aleman, Vincent Flores, Ben Vega.
