Roy V. Hernandez January 14, 1961 ? December 12, 2009 Our beloved Roy V. Hernandez, age 48, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, December 12, 2009. He was preceded in death by his father Audon V. Hernandez. Roy was a member of the University of Texas Alumni Association, Texas Longhorn Foundation and the Chairman of the Cole Pittman Foundation. His hobbies included attending U. T. football games, Lake Travis High School football games and taking his dogs Sjef and Jr. for walks. He is survived by his loving mother Natividad V. Hernandez; sisters Alice Huron (Jesse), Sandra H. Gonzales (Clint); brothers Johnny V. Hernandez, Margarito V. Hernandez, Alonzo V. Hernandez, Alfonso V. Hernandez and Rudolpho V. Hernandez; nieces and nephews Katrina A. Gonzales, Kyle A. Gonzales, Randy J. Huron, Melissa Hernandez, Tommy Hernandez, Monica Vega, Adam Hernandez, Amy Ortiz and his beloved dogs Sjef and Jr. Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., Thursday at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Thursday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian burial 10:00 a.m., Friday at St. Catherine Of Siena Catholic Church. This will conclude services for Mr. Hernandez.
