Our beloved Refugia S. Padilla, age 90, resident of Austin, formally of Pearsall Texas, passed away on Wednesday July 19, 2000. Mrs. Padilla was the proud owner of the Chat and Chew Restaurant and a member of San Pablo Methodist Church in Pearsall Texas.
Survivors include: Beloved Children; Santos ?Tita? Clouse and husband Frank of Harrisonburg Virginia, Joe ?Santana? Davila and Rudy Davila and wife Roberta both of Austin. Step-Daughters; Mrs. Tom (Minnie) Olivarez and Mrs. Reymundo (Frances) Perez both of Pearsall TX., Brothers; Lazaro Sifuentes and wife Odilia and Alex Sifuentes both of San Antonio TX., and Sister; Rebecca Trevi?o of Pearsall TX. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Prayer service will be held on Friday 7:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Michael Dobbs will preside. Funeral service will be Saturday 2:00pm at San Pablo Methodist Church in Pearsall TX. Rev. Moises Garces will officiate. Interment will follow in Westside Cemetery in Pearsall TX.
