Manuela Lopez November 14, 1916 ? December 8, 2009 Our beloved Mom, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and Great-Great Grandmother, Manuela Lopez, age 93, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, December 8, 2009. She was preceded in death by parents Teresa and Gaspar Acosta; sisters Angelita Acosta Garcia, Horentensia Garcia and grandson Tim L. Navarro. Mom fought through her illnesses with dignity, grace and humor. There is a void in our hearts that will never be filled. Rest now, Mom, for you are at peace with the angels. We Love You! She is survived by her loving and devoted children Connie and Carlos Navarro, Rudy Lopez, Freddie Lopez, Olivia Castillo, George Lopez and Ernesto Lopez; numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends. The family wishes to extend special thanks to her caregivers Dr. Pete Garcia, Dr. Scott Moore, Dr. Dina Tebcherany, Outreach Health Services, First Divine Home Health, her home health aide Marisol Rodriguez and all of the staff at West Oaks Rehab & Health Center. Mass of Christian burial 10:00 a.m., Friday at San Jose Catholic Church Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
