Our beloved, Francisco "Pancho" Iruegas, 24 years of age, resident of Austin, Texas was called by our heavenly Father on Thursday, August 20, 2009. Pancho's job was one that brought him the greatest joy in his life, the care of his daughter Azzareya. We will miss him forever. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Matias and Susie Velasquez; and his dear friend Steven Castillo.Francisco is survived by his wife, Jessica Sutton; daughter, Azzareya Ann Velazquez; mother, Yolanda Velasquez; brothers, Javier Perkins and Jose Velasquez; sister, Sarita Iruegas; aunts, Barbara Rivera, Monica Larson, Jerri Stewart (Jim); uncles, Carlos Flores, Michael Velasquez (Josie), Frank Velasquez (Elsa); and many cousins whom he dearly loved. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home. Rosary service will be held 6:00 p.m., August 23, 2009 at Mission Funeral Home. A Mass celebrating his life will be held Monday, 1:00 p.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment Assumption Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jose Velasquez, Javier Perkins, Chris Velasquez, Christopher Rivera, Shawn Castillo, and Ross Nuncio. Honorary pallbearers will be Joe Louis Rodriguez and Anthony Enriques. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Francisco at A+ Federal Credit Union in account name Sarita Iruegas.
