Barbara F. Ramirez was called by our Lord to be with her Father on August 8, 2009 at the young age of 53. She was born in Austin on October 29, 1955 to Petra and Trinidad Flores, Sr.. Preceded in death by her Father, Trinidad D. ?Ted? Flores, Sr., and her Nephew, Trinidad D. Flores, IIIShe loved being on the beach in Corpus Christi playing in the waves, walking around looking for sand dollars and spending time with her family.
Barbie is survived by her Mother; Petra ?Tita? Flores, her Brother; Trinidad D. Flores, Jr., her Children; Jason, Charles and Marisa, her Grandchildren; Andrew, Alexander, Matthew, Destiny, Christopher, Nathan, Liana and Jayla her companion of many years Paul Cortez.
Visitation will be from 2:00pm on Wednesday with Recitation of Holy Rosary, at 7:00pm at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 10:00am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Internment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thanks to the family and friends who kept Barbara in their prayers and all the medical staff that cared for her.
