Mary Helen Ysla January 15, 1957 ? July 22, 2009Our beloved Mary Helen Ysla , age 52, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Mary Helen has joined our Mother, Father, sister and brother in Heaven with God, his angels and our ancestors. Our family wishes to thank the staff of South Austin Medical Center, Hospice Austin and Christopher House for their loving support. The family also wishes to extend special thanks to Dr. Allen Sonstein and Mary?s friends at Shady Hollow Group Home and Westgate. She is survived by siblings Lupe Y. Penn (Rudy), Basilia Y. Castillo, Juaquin Ysla (Janie), Julie Y. Barron (Alfredo), Rosie Y. Flores (Jimmy), Jo Y. Villanueva (Ruben), Tony Ysla (Julia) and Elizabeth Ysla-Leight (David). She was preceded in death by father Rosalio C. Ysla; mother Beatrice H. Ysla; sister Julia Ysla and brother Johnny Ysla. Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Friday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Saturday at St. Julia Catholic Church 900 Tillery Street. Internment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made in memory of Mary Helen Ysla to Hospice Austin 4107 Spicewood Springs Road Suite 100 Austin, Texas 78759.
