Our beloved Jose Ysidro Ramirez, 89, of Austin passed away on Saturday, July 11, 2009 in his home surrounded by family. Preceded in death by his Daughter; Alicia Gomez. He was a loving Father to all children that were blessed to encounter this loving man. Raised on a farm, provided for his Mother and Sister at a very young age. Worked at Texwood Furniture for many years, retired and continued to work around the house and care for his family.
Survived by his Wife of 33 years; Paulina J. Ramirez, 3 Daughters; Frances Chapa, Rosemary Cardona, Angie Meisenholder, one Son; Jimmy Ramirez, a devoted Grandfather to 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary on Tuesday at 7:00pm at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10:00am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Jamie Mathias officiating. Burial in Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be family members.
