Rosa Ortiz Marines March 16, 1945 ? June 21, 2009 Our beloved Rosa Ortiz Marines, age 64, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 21, 2009.
She is survived by loving husband Ben Sr.; sons Ben Jr. (Christina), Jerel; daughter Evelyn; siblings Pete Ortiz Sr. ( Frances), Modesta Saucedo (Marcelo), Angelina Samilpa (Isidro), Guadalupe ?Shorty? Ortiz, Frances Salazar, Isabel Quiroz (Tony) and Albert Ortiz Jr. (Vera); 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Santos Ortiz; brother Joe Ortiz; sister Blacita Ortiz and grandson Albert Marines.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Thursday at San Jose Catholic Church Internment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
