Irene Y. Ornelas September 11, 1950 ? June 13, 2009 Irene Y. Ornelas was born September 11, 1950 in Austin, Texas. She passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday June 13, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her loving mother Juanita Pardo and her adoring children Connie Castilleja and her husband Henry; Diane Saldana and her husband Richard; Daniel Ornelas and his wife Beth, and grandchildren Stephanie Serrano, Selena Robledo, Israel and Carolina Castilleja; great grandchild Issac Buie. Her memory will live on through her sisters Jovita Patino and husband Abel; Lupe Mier and husband George; Judy Gelasco and husband Darryl; Peggy Bracamontez and husband Ernest; Delores DeLeon; and her brothers Mayo Pardo and wife Amanda; Jesse Mata; John Mata; Joe Pardo; Cruz Pardo and numerous nieces and nephews. Irene Y. Ornelas worked for Shoal Creek for 39 years. She will be remembered as a loving and caring daughter, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Irene?s family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support over the last three years and throughout her life.
