Roy David Hernandez, born September 6, 1962, left this earth on May 25, 2009, surrounded by his family. Roy was a devoted husband, father, son, nephew and cousin as well as a good friend to many. He worked as an account executive for Daktronics.Roy is survived by his Wife Teresa and his two year old Daughter Victoria Maria, his Parents; David and Charlotte Hernandez, 2 brothers; Lynn Hernandez, Andy Hernandez and wife Tiffany, 2 Sisters; Lynda Fuller and husband Bob, Angie Hernandez and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and many close friends. A Funeral Service for Roy will be conducted Thursday, May 28, 2009 at 2:00pm at University Presbyterian Church, 2203 San Antonio St., Austin, Texas. Burial to follow in Capital Memorial Park Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas. Pallbearers will be; Bob Fuller, Joel Gonzalez, Andy Hernandez, Trent Taylor, John Burmeister and Anthony Smircic. Honorary Pallbearers; Don Thomas and Juston Taylor. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the many people who have helped Roy and Teresa during his illness, especially Dr. Antonio Gamboa in Austin and Dr. Joseph Ludwig at the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Hospice Austin.
