Our beloved Raul M. Escobar, Sr., 83, of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, May 22, 2009. Mr. Escobar was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. Preceded in death by his Parents; Porfirio and Cristina M. Escobar. Survived by his Children; Raul Escobar, Jr., Sabrina Escobar, Elsa Escobar, 3 Sisters; Maria S. Martinez, Celia Charles, Emilia Gonzales, 3 Brothers; Arturo Escobar, Rodolfo Escobar, Armando Escobar and a host of Grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary will be on Wednesday at 7:00pm at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00am at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas.
Pallbearers will be members of the family.
