Benjamin Aleman passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 22, 2009 after a brief illness. A beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, was a longtime resident of Del Valle, Texas.Born in Tamaluipas, Mexico to Juan and Lasara Contreras, married Isabel Amaya, wife of 54 Years, together they raised 9 loving Children, was one of five of the founding members of San Francisco de Javier Catholic Church. Survived by his beloved Wife; Isabel, loving Children; Louisa Reynero, Felix Aleman, Carmen Aleman, Ben Aleman, Jr., Mary Mojica, Steve Aleman, Johnny Aleman and Beatrice Aleman, 23 Grandchildren and 52 Great-Grandchildren. Preceded in death by his Parents, Siblings, one Son; Cruz Hernandez and a Grandson; John Anthony Reynero. Recitation of Holy Rosary will be on Sunday at 6:00pm at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:00am at San Francisco de Javier Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Gonzalo Ferrer officiating. Internment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
