Obituary of Taggart Bell

Taggart (Tag) Ryder Bell December 10, 2008 ? March 16, 2009 Taggart ?Tag? Ryder Bell, the infant son of Aiko Marie Morales and Brian Keith Bell, passed away Monday, March 16, at St. David?s North Austin Medical Center.
Tag was a born fighter who showed great spirit and determination. He entered the world prematurely on Dec. 10, 2008, and valiantly stood up to the health challenges he confronted. Tag?s desire to live was only eclipsed by his parents? love for him.
The family is deeply grateful for the constant care and support provided to Tag and his parents by the wonderful staff in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of St. David?s North Austin Medical Center; as well as the overwhelming support and generosity of co-workers and extended family & friends both near and far away.
Survivors include Tag?s parents, Aiko Marie Morales and Brian Keith Bell of Austin; grandparents, Raul and Yoko Morales of Sacramento, Calif., and Delmar Bell of Corpus Christi, Tex.; aunts Rumiko Morales of Sacramento and Carmen Bell Williams of Austin; uncles Alfred Morales of Kyle and Carlos M. Bell of New Hope, MN., cousins Madisen Marie Williams, Maricela Yvette Garza, Michael Raul Morales, and Sierra Antonia Morales.
His grandmother, Maria Martinez Bell, preceded him in death.
Serving as pallbearers are Tag?s uncles, Carlos M. Bell and Alfred Morales, Kevin Johnson of Alexandria, Va., and Thomas E. Hay of Pflugerville, TX. Honorary pallbearer Dan Contreras of Austin, TX.
Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. ? 5:00 p.m., Saturday March 21, 2009 at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 6:00 p.m., Sunday March 22, 2009 at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial 1:00 p.m., Monday March 23, 2009 at St. Theresa Catholic Church 4311 Small Drive. Internment will follow at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery 2800 Hancock Drive.
