Dora Ortiz Tristan September 13, 1929 - February 22, 2009Our beloved Dora O. Tristan , age 79, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, February 22., 2009. She is survived by sisters Santos O. Soliz, Maria (Elida) and Jesus Acevedo, Genoveva Ortiz; daughters Linda Rodriguez, Delia and Pete Hernandez, Jodi Eller, Rosie Villarreal, Beatrice and Larry Barnes, Diane Tristan, Dora Ann and Norman Weaner; daughter-in-law Linda Tristan-Perez; sons Jesse Tristan, Jose Anthony and Geneva Tristan, Michael and Esther Tristan and adopted son James Rodriguez; 27 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Guadalupe Ortiz; husband Jose Tristan Jr. and son Robert O. Tristan; Pallbearers will be James Rodriguez, Richard Hernandez, Pete Hernandez Jr., Thomas Eller, Christopher Tristan, Adam Tristan, Gregory Villarreal, Adrian Villarreal, Norman (Trey) Weaner, Daniel Mancera. The family wishes to express gratitude to her favorite doctor William Deaton for the wonderful care he gave her; West Oak Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for making her last days comfortable. The family especially wants to thank her daughter Dora Ann Weaner for the continuous loving care she provided.
