Edith Handy Fredine, 98, of Austin, TX, died peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2009. She was born on December 21, 1910 in Long Prairie, Minnesota.She lived in Bethesda, Maryland for 55 years before coming to Austin in 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, C. Gordon Fredine. She is survived by a daughter Patricia Narrowe, a son John (Jack) Fredine; grandchildren Meredith Narrowe, Rebecca Narrowe, Daniel Fredine, and Christopher Fredine; and a great-granddaughter Alexis Fredine.
