Ernest James Alcala February 5, 1950 ? February 14, 2009 Our beloved Ernest James Alcala , age 59, resident of Buda, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, February 14, 2009.
He is survived by his daughter Debbie McLean; son P.J. Alcala; son Michael Jon Alcala; mother of his children Julia Alcala; mother Helen Alcala; sister Linda Bradford; brother Rene Alcala; grandson Tino McLean; grandson Joe McLean and wife Nelda Sepeda.
He was preceded in death by his father Pedro Alcala.
The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Vista Care Hospice and friends for their care and compassion during this most difficult time.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Tuesday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mr. Alcala will lie in state beginning at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at Santa Cruz Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 a.m., Wednesday at Santa Cruz Catholic Church in Buda. Internment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
