Our beloved Francisco (Frank) G. Zapata, age 92, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday June 6, 2000. He was preceded in death by his wife Crestina G. Zapata and brother Juan Zapata. Survivors include: Beloved Children; Rudolph ?Sub? Zapata and wife Lydia of Austin, Maria Coy and husband Jose of California, Robert Zapata and wife Kathy of Cedar Park and Emma G. Zapata of Austin. He is also survived by 24 Grandchildren, 34 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Recitation of rosary Thursday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday 10:00am at Dolores Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. John Korscmar will officiate. Graveside Services will be held on Friday at 1:45pm at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio Texas with Military Honors. Serving as pallbearers are his Grandchildren. Arrangements by Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, (512) 476-4355.
