Jimmy B. Salazar April 29, 1945 ? January 22, 2009 Our beloved Jimmy B. Salazar , age 63 resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, January 22, 2009. He is survived by wife Alice; mother Tomasa Castillo; son Jimbo Salazar Jr. and wife Julie; daughter Liz Hernandez; son John A. Luna Sr. and wife Anna; daughter Sandra Salazar; daughter Kris Salazar and partner Rob Pate; daughter Paula M. Zepeda and husband Chano; daughter Tommie Soliz and husband Anthony; son Felix P. Salazar Sr. and wife Shirley; grandchildren David, John, Monica and Marisa Luna; Trey, Sierra and Jammie Salazar; Megan Hernandez; Felix Salazar II; Alyssa Soliz; Paul, Stephanie, Maria and James Zepeda; sisters Benita Gutierrez and husband Lino; Lydia Gonzales; Angie Castillo; brothers Henry Castillo and wife Margaret; Charlie Castillo Jr. and Frank Salazar. He was preceded in death by father Pete Salazar; sister Audelia Rivera; brother Felix Salazar; brother Danny Castillo; step-father Charlie Castillo Sr. and grandmother Maria Bernal. Recitation of Holy Rosary 6:00 p.m., Sunday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Funeral Service 9:00 a.m., Monday at St. Julia Catholic Church 900 Tillery Street. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
