Our beloved Parents, Ninfa and Louis A.Martinez, Sr., residents of Austin were called by our Heavenly Father to their eternal rest. Mrs. Ninfa Martinez passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2008 and Mr. Louis A. Martinez, Sr. passed away on Monday, August 11, 2008. Both Mr. and Mrs. Martinez were owners of Mi Tierra Restaurant for many years. They were caring and devoted parents and grandparents.. ?Our Parents were our life and joy?Survived by their loving Children; Louis A. Martinez, Jr.(Oralia), Edward A. Martinez, Dolores Saucedo(Narciso), Annabel Mendoza(Robert), Alice M. Vallejo(Steven), one Brother; Pete Martinez, 2 Sisters; Eloise Urias(Sandy), Maggie Nu?ez, Sister-in-Law; Connie Martinez, 15 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren and one Great-great-Grandchild.
A Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7:00pm at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Francisco Villegas Mu?oz, OMF Conv. officiating. Internment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as Pallbearers; John Martinez, James Saucedo, Mark Mendoza, Steven Vallejo, Jr., David Villapando, David Vallejo, Tony Mendoza, Linda and Catherine Mendoza, Randy Vallejo and Jose Rodriguez.
