Manuel Ruiz Morales Jr. "Manny" 1945- 2008Our beloved Manuel Ruiz Morales Jr., age 63, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, August 8, 2008.
Mr. Morales is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Anita Morales; daughter Gloria Morales Loera; granddaughters Alexus Naomi Morales and Michaela Alexandria Loera; brother Alejandro ?Alex? Morales.
He proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army and also retired from civil service at Bergstrom Air Force Base. Even after retirement Mr. Morales continued active by working as a bus driver for A.I.S.D., working as a greeter at Walmart and working at the V.F.W. Post #3377.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Funeral Service 10:00 a.m., Thursday at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be members of the Catholic War Veterans Post #1805
