Our beloved Sgt. Orlando Miguel Hernandez, 31, resident of Round Rock, Texas was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 31, 2008. At time of his passing, Sgt. Hernandez was a Medic with the HHB 41st Fires Brigade stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas. Prior to enlistment in the U.S. Army, Sgt. Hernandez formally served in the U.S. Marine Corp with the rank of Lance Corporal from 1998 to 2002. Preceded in death by one Sister; Veronica Hernandez Mendez.Survived by his beloved Wife of 10 years; Roxanne Hernandez, his loving Children; Victoria Hernandez, Veronica Hernandez, Orlando Hernandez, Jr., his loving Mother; Rosa Hernandez, Step-Father; Jose Guadalupe Arriaga, 2 Brothers; Juan Hernandez, Jose Guadalupe Arriaga, Jr., 3 Sisters; Elizabeth H. Padilla, Deyanira Barba, Lupita Arriaga, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Recitation of Holy Rosary on Monday at 7:00pm at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday at 1:00pm, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Internment will follow with full military honors in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as Pallbearers will be the Honor Guard from Ft. Hood, Texas.
