Our beloved Elias Olvera Sr., age 73, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 11, 2000. Mr. Olvera was preceeded in death by his parents Santiago and Francisca Olvera, Brothers Andres Olvera, Jesus Olvera, Santiago Olvera, Jr., and Jose Olvera, Sister Juanita Vela, Angelita Olvera, Josefina Olvera and Mary Arredondo.Survivors include: daughter Denise Olvera of Austin, TX; son Elias Olvera, Jr. of Austin, TX; sisters Carlota O. Garza of Farwell, TX.; Asencion Olvera of Kyle, TX.; Lupe Olvera of Austin, TX.; and Magdalena O. Reyes of Kyle, TX. He is preceded in death by parents Santiago and Francisca Olvera.
Recitation of rosary Sunday, 7pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday 11:00am at San Jose Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. George Joseph and Deacon Romeo Sanchez will officiate. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
