Mary Edna Mooney July 29, 1937 ? June 13, 2008 After a courageous three year battle with cancer our beloved Mary Edna Mooney, age 70, resident of Bastrop, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday June 13, 2008. Her family takes comfort in knowing she has passed on into the loving arms of our Lord.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband Truman Mooney.
She is survived by sisters Dorothy Casteel and Martha Savage; one step-brother John Goodgame; one step-sister Joanne Stone; children Sherry McGraw, Connie Shirley and Randy Cline; step-sister Phyllis Shepard; grandchildren Jason McGraw, Neal Shirley, Stacy Cline, Aaron Cline, Micah Shepard and Liesl Shepard ;three great-grandchildren Jeg Shirley ,Ariel Cline and Shayler Shepard.
Graveside Services will take place 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008 at Fairview Cemetery in Bastrop.
