Dora C. Puentes Sunrise: November 21, 1912 Sunset: June 18, 2008Our beloved mother Mrs. Dora C. Puentes, age 95, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 18, 2008.
Mrs. Puentes is survived by sons John C. Lopez, Ricardo, Ramiro, Ralph and Johnny H. Puentes; daughters Eva Fernandez, Rita Davis, Olga Gonzales and Sheila Gonzales; adopted daughter Vina Milan; sister Virginia Melicia.; brother Alex Castillo; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Puentes.
Mrs. Puentes was an active member in the Austin community and dedicated her time to many Austin area organizations. She was also a dedicated employee of Palm School for many years.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 6:00 p.m. Sunday June 22, 2008 at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. (South). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday June 23, 2008 at San Jose Catholic Church 2435 Oak Crest. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers great-grandchildren.
