Our beloved Theresa Jeanne Ortega, 68, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday April 7, 2008. Mrs. Ortega served her country proudly and discharged honorably with the U.S. Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved Husband; Juan Antonio Ortega Sr. on March 14, 2008. Survived by her beloved Son; Juan Antonio Ortega, Jr. and wife Andrea, Grandchildren; Cross Ortega, Jazz RoAnne Ortega, Jared Enriquez, Niece; Rosa Maria Flores, Great-Nieces; Isabella Flores, Esperanza Flores, Brother-in-law; Gilbert Flores, Sister-in-law; Janie Flores and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00pm on Thursday at Mission Funeral Home-Remembrance Chapel. Funeral Mass Friday at 10:00am, St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Joe Tomei officiating. Private services will follow by the Ortega family.
Special thanks to Hospice Austin Doctors, Nurses, Staff and to Greta and Ed Kaoffman, our neighbors for their compassion, care and love given to Theresa and her late husband Juan Antonio Ortega.
