Our beloved Pete R. Moreno, age 76Our beloved Pete R. Moreno, age 76, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 11, 2006. He was preceded in death by mother Isabel Rodriguez; brother Herman Rodriguez and sister Janie Lopez. Survivors include beloved wife of 57 years Marcella R. Moreno; daughters Helen Flores and husband Benjamin, Judy Rendon and husband Lloyd; son Ernest Moreno and friend Dolores Torres, Pete Moreno and wife Nora; sister Hope Leyendecker; eight grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren . Recitation of rosary Thursday, 7:30 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel 6204 South First Street. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday 10:00 a.m. at St. Julia Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are grandsons Daniel Flores, Michael Moreno, Peter Jason Moreno, Marcus Moreno; nephews Joe and James Ramirez. Honorary pallbearers are Jimmy and Anna Gonzales, Keith Ward and Rebecca Moreno. The family extends heartfelt gratitude towards Dr. Lawrence Tokaz, Dr. Timothy Dziuk, Dr. Santiago Zamora, Hospice Austin and their staffs. To the many friends and relatives thank you for all of the loving prayers, support, food and cards received.
