Anastacia Mendoza, 92, of Austin, Texas passed away at her residence on June 10, 2006. Anastacia was born on January 22, 1914 in Marquez, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents Refugio Moncivais and Leonardo Alvarez, husband Rufus Mendoza, two sons Fiderico Mendoza and Earl Mendoza, one daughter Maria Luisa Mendoza, one sister Ageda Castillo.
She is survived by a son Ernest (Anita) Mendoza of Houston, Tx., daughters Marie Hardison of Biloxie, Ms., Cecilia Mendoza, Celia Mendoza, Cordilia Mendoza, Dorothy (Edward) Limon, and Dolores (Samuel) Flores of Beaumont, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be this morning, June 13, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
