Our beloved Manuel S. Coy, Jr., age 75, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 13, 2006. Preceded in death by his Daughter; Dorothy Coy Juarez, Father; Manuel J. Coy, Sr. and a Brother; Guadalupe S. Coy. Mr. Coy served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, serving his country proudly and discharged honorably.
Survived by his beloved Wife of 54 years; Janie Maria Coy, one Daughter; Nancy Coy, 4 Sons; John Alvarado (Lupe), Tony B. Coy (Diana), Manuel B. Coy, III and Richard B. Coy, also survived by his beloved Mother; Clara Solis Coy, one Brother; Joe Coy, 3 Sisters; Isabel Ruiz, Candelaria Bocanegra and Margie Ramos. 14 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren survive him.
Recitation of Holy Rosary Wednesday at 7:00pm, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home (Cesar Chavez). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10:00am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Jesse Euresti officiating. Internment will follow in Capital Memorial Park Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.
