He was preceded in death by parents Audon Torres Sr. & Juanita Lombardo; brothers Ruben Rodriguez & Audon Torres Jr.; nephew Homer Torres. He is survived by his wife of 30 years Julia; daughter Julia Rodriguez & husband Marco of Kyle, son Roberto Torres Jr. & wife Stephanie stationed in Singapore, daughter A?Donna of Kyle, son John Isaac stationed in Whiteman AFB, Missouri; 8 grandchildren; brother Frank Torres & wife Esmeralda of Lubbock; sisters Gloria Valdez, Gracie Campos & husband David of San Marcos; cousin Inez Rodriguez & husband Jerry. Recitation of rosary Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (south). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday 10:00 a.m. at Santa Cruz Catholic Church in Buda. Msgr. Joseph Deane will officiate. Interment will follow at Onion Creek Memorial Park Cemetery in South Austin. Serving as pallbearers are Chris Avalos, Daniel Avalos, Gerald Avalos, Patrick Roque, Jose Campos III and Chris Rodriguez. Honorary pallbearers are Pete Avalos, Anita & Sarah Sambrano. The family would like to extend its gratitude to the entire Torres and Avalos families for their continuous support during our time of need.
