Our beloved Aurora Verdeja Sontoya, 89, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 3, 2006.Preceded in death by her beloved Husband; Heliodoro Sontoya, Jr., her Parents; Juan and Juanita Verdeja, Brothers; Pablo and Alfredo Verdeja, Sister; Felicita Garcia, Grandson; Joel Castilleja, Great-Grandsons; Nicolas and Joseph Castilleja and a Son-in-Law; Daniel B. Cordova. Survived by her Beloved Children; Lee Sontoya and wife Teresa, Adelaida Contreras and husband Jesus, Rudy Sontoya and wife Christine, Linda Cordova, 2 Sisters; Candelaria Narvaiz and Paula Aguirre. 18 Grandchildren, 29 Great-Grandchildren and 7 Great-Great-Grandchildren survive her. Recitation of Holy Rosary, Friday at 7:00pm, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home(Cesar Chavez). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday at 2:00pm at St. Julia?s Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. John Boiko officiating. Interment will follow in Marines-Verdeja Family Cemetery in Luling, Texas. Special thanks and recognition to Daughter-in-Law Christine Sontoya for helping to care, the love and kindness given to our beloved Mother during her illness. Serving as pallbearers will be; Lee Sontoya, Rudy Sontoya, Jesus Contreras, Jose Luis Contreras, Armando Verdeja and Miguel Contreras.
