Our beloved angel, Rita, was called to her Heavenly Home on May 2, 2006Our beloved angel, Rita, was called to her Heavenly Home on May 2, 2006 and she was born July 19, 1910. She was married to Tomas Orona Alba for 51 years and resided in Dripping Springs TX. A faithful wife, mother and grandmother, aunt and friend. She was known for her green thumb, working continuously in her garden. Rita was preceded in death by parents, husband Tomas O. Alba and five sisters. She is survived by two sisters and one brother; two daughters Gracie G. Rosalez, Felipa Alba Sustaita (Ralph) & son Maximo Alba (Penny) of Austin; seven grandchildren Thomas Alba, Debra Pate (Gentry), Christopher Sustaita (Judy), Erica Clark, James Alba & mother Jane Estrada, Eric Rosalez (Gina) of Austin and Patricia Owsley (Brian) of Fort Bragg, NC; eleven great-grandchildren, Sean, Zackary, Maddison, & Sophia Pate; Cheyenne, Haley, & Teagan Owsley; Daniel, Christian, & Dominick Rosalez; & Terrance Clark Jr.; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews & friends. Special thanks to Hospice of Austin aids & nurses for their support & care. Recitation of rosary Friday, 7:30 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (south). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday 11:30 a.m. at St. Julia Catholic Church. Rev. John Boiko will officiate. Interment will follow at Phillips Cemetery in Dripping Springs, Texas.
