Our beloved Epifanio Vega, 79, a lifelong resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 20, 2006 surrounded by his family at home. Preceded in death by his Parents; Isidoro and Benita Vega, 2 Sisters; Marcelina Vasquez and Eulalia Vega, a Grandson; Joe David Vega, Jr., and a Great-Granddaughter; Cristina Vega.
Mr. Vega is survived by his beloved Wife of 54 years; Antonia L. Vega, beloved Children; Joe David Vega, Sr., Mary Somerville, Robert Vega and wife Minnie, Sofia Vega, Gloria Thomas and husband Dave, Alice Mulkey and husband Jerry and Daniel Vega, Sr., 15 Grandchildren; Lisa, Jay, Gina, Amy, Renee, Crystal, Danny, Becky, Jason, Michael, Andrew, David, John, Michelle and Jennifer, 9 Great-Grandchildren; Candice, Kristen, Brandon, Bryan, Austin, Christian, Haley, Elisabeth and Kira, 2 Sisters; Isabel Reyes and Guadalupe Guerrero
Recitation of Holy Rosary, Sunday at 7:30pm, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home(Cesar Chavez). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday at 10:00am at St. Julia?s Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Tom Frank officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be his Grandsons.
