Our Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully at home on March 14, 2006 in the presence of all her children. She was born on February 5, 1926, and lived in Creedmoor, TX. Felipa was an active Guadalupana at San Francisco Javier Church for many years. She enjoyed crocheting, and was known for her famous homemade tamales amongst the Creedmoor community. Felipa was a very loving and generous person. She befriended so many that many often called her home their home. Our wonderful mother will be missed dearly by all of us.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Marcelino Solis, grandson Robert E. Reyes, and sisters Isabel Vasquez and Lucia Lozano.
She is survived by her children Manuela Villarreal, Louisa Velasquez, Carlota Reyes, Juanita Castillo, Oscar Solis, Emma Solis, Jesse Solis, Teresa Solis, Adam Solis, and Abraham Solis. She was blessed with 23 wonderful grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; sister Dolores Elizondo and brother Juan Garcia.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday 10:00 a.m. at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Live Oak Cemetery.
