Our beloved Lydia R. Castro, age 83, a lifelong resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, February 13, 2006. Preceded in death by her parents; Juan and Natividad and a Sister; Leonor Delgado Mrs. Castro is survived by her beloved Husband of 54 years; Eliseo Castro, Daughter; Gloria Castro, one Brother; Cristino Rivas, 2 Grandchildren; Adam Gharaibeh and Aaron Blackwelder.
Prayer Services 7:30pm Wednesday, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home. Mrs. Castro will lie in state at 9:00am on Thursday at the First Mexican Baptist Church, East 2nd St. and Medina with Funeral Services at 10:00am, Rev. Carlos Alsina officiating. Burial in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as Pallbearers; Christopher, J.J., and Rico Hernandez, Ray Rivas, Arturo Rivas and Ray Rivas.
