Santiago was born the 25th day of July, 1925 and passed away the 6th day of February, 2006. Preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Leticia Duarte-McGhee. Survived by his beloved Wife of 54 years; Maria Amparo Duarte, one Son; Santiago Duarte, Jr (Lupe), 2 Daughters; Alma R. Champaign, Elva D. Lara (Robert Melendrez), one Sister; Connie Duarte, 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Prayer Services, Thursday 7:30pm, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home (E. Cesar Chavez). Funeral Services 10:00am Friday, Mission Funeral Home(Cesar Chavez). Rev. Juan Cadena officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be; Raymond Amaro, Jr., JoeRey Santiago Amaro, Henry Rodriguez, Hector Santellana, Arnold Rivas and Jerry Rivera.
