Our beloved father Gus S. Pavia III was called to his eternal rest February 1, 2006. Gus Pavia III was born to Mr. Gus Pavia Jr. and Irene Pavia on July 8, 1958 in Austin, TX.He spent the majority of his life in east Austin as a used car salesman and helping people that may have been less fortunate than he was. He was a loving father to his kids and a loving grandfather to his grandkids. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. Gus is preceded in death by his father Gus Pavia Jr., his sister Frances ?Kika? Gonzales and grandmother Vera Amaro. He is survived by his mother Irene Pavia, sons: Gus Pavia IV, James Pavia and wife Ana, Jesse Pavia and wife Stephanie, daughter: Nicole Torres and husband Ignacio, grandchildren: Ignacio Torres Jr., Brittany Pavia, Jonathan Pavia, Mark Torres, Liliana Pavia, Ariana Torres, brothers: Sam Balades, Henry Valadez, Mike Pavia, Daniel Baladez, Armando Pavia, Larry Pavia, Juan Jose Pesina, sisters: Elida Sanchez, Dorothy Gonzales, and numerous nephews and nieces all of Austin. Recitation of Holy Rosary will be held 7:30 pm Sunday at Mission Funeral Home(E. Cesar Chavez). Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 10 am Monday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Jesse Euresti officiating. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
