Our beloved Vicente Ruiz, Jr., 66, a resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, January 22, 2006. Mr. Ruiz was formerly of Corpus Christi, Texas and retired owner of Highland Plaza Shoe Repair.Preceded in death by his Parents, Vicente Sr. and Antonia Ruiz.
Survived by his beloved Wife of 45 years; Magdalena Ruiz, Alma Fosque(Harold), Norma Reyes, Linda Guzman(Andy), Angie Ramirez(Ponciano), Pearl Ruiz(Julian), Maricela Martinez(Salomon) and Angelina Guijaro, 2 Sons; Jose Roberto Ruiz(Susan) and John Ruiz, Sr.(Christina), 2 Brothers; Jesse Ruiz(Leticia) and Joe Ruiz(Mary), 34 Grandchildren and 49 Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of Holy Rosary Wednesday at 7:30p.m., Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home(Cesar Chavez). Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:00a.m. Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers; John Edward Ruiz, Jr., Eric Benjamin Ruiz, Dominic Ruiz, Jorge Gomez, Victor Serna and Vincent Cisneros.
Honorary pallbearers; Tina Marie Torres and Marisa Rodriguez.
