Our beloved mother , Leonarda Montoya, age 81, of Austin, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2006.
She was preceded in death by her parents Francisco and Leonor Tello, her husband Jose Montoya Sr., and infant grandson Montoya.
Survivors include sons Jose Montoya Jr. and wife Irma, Pete T. Montoya and wife Alice, Reuben Montoya and wife Elisa, Edward Montoya and wife Melissa; brother Frank Tello Jr. and wife Irene; sister Jovita Tello; fourteen grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Recitation of rosary Monday, 7:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (south).
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday 9:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Montoya, Andy Montoya, Martin Montoya, Daniel Montoya, Reuben (Michael) Montoya, and Christian De Leon.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Pete Garcia, Monte Siesta Nursing Home and Odyssey Hospice.
