Flores, age 70, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday, October 28, 2005. She was preceded in death by her mother Savina Hernandez and sister Carmen Alcocer Bazaco. Survivors include: husband of 50 years Estanislado Flores of Austin, daughters Lillie Flores of Austin, Stella Martinez of Pomona, Calif., Christina Flores stationed at Charleston, A.F.B., S.C., USAF., Sylvia Flores, Carolyn Prince, Margaret Flores all of Austin; father Natividad Hernandez of Cedar Creek, Tex.; brothers Lawrence Hernandez and wife Sylvia of Cedar Creek, Tex., Rick Hernandez and wife Barbara of Bastrop, Tex.; sisters Cipriana Moncivais and Felix Martinez of Round Rock, Tex., Hortencia Gutierrez and husband John of Marble Falls, Tex., Rachael Vanderhoff and husband Jim currently residing in Japan, Julia Garcia and husband Rudy of Austin, Tex., Gloria Retiz of Austin, Tex.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandsons. Special thanks to staff at St. David's South Austin Hospital and our guardian angel Jessica Ybarra. And to our family for their prayers and support in our time of need. Recitation of rosary Sunday, 7:30 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel. Monday will lie in state 9:00 a.m. at Dolores Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Edwin Kadzielawski, CSC will officiate. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Ray Garcia, Larry Moncivais, Cristian Alcocer, Jesse Flores, Andrew Flores and Joe Flores. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Larios and John Arthur Martinez. A woman who lived life to the fullest, who loved her family very much, a woman with a beautiful smile full of joy and love, who touched many lives and everyone who came to know her became family. Mom, we will miss you dearly.
