Alicia Faz Ruedas left this earth to be with our Lord on Tuesday June 7, 2005. She was born February 21, 1931 in Austin Texas. She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years; Estanislado Ruedas, Daughter; Frances Rodriguez, Sons; Rufus Ruedas, Jacinto Ruedas, Manuel Ruedas, Alfred Ruedas, and Esteban Ruedas, 2 Sisters; Eloisa Torres and Hortencia Briones, 1 Brother; Domingo Faz, 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her parents; Jose and Maria Faz, 3 brothers, 1 sister, a grandson and a daughter-in-law.
Recitation of Holy Rosary at 7:30pm Thursday, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home, E. Cesar Chavez. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated Friday 10:00am at Dolores Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. John Korcsmar to officiate. Committal service will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Special thanks to the staff and doctors at Healthsouth Rehab Hospital and Los Milagros Dialysis Center for the care, love and support given to our beloved Alicia.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and her son-in-law.
