Our beloved Father, Cruz R. Salda?a, age 84, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday May 30, 2005. Mr. Salda?a served honorably during WW II in the U.S Army. He was a band member with the Nash Hernandez Orchestra for many years. Mr. Salda?a is survived by his beloved Children; Raymond Salda?a (Teresita Espinoza), Eloisa Salda?a (Weyman Koenning), Marie and husband Lucio Govea, Jr., Willie Moreno, Jr., a sister; Susie LeFebure, a brother; Benny Salda?a, all of Austin. 18 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren survive him. Preceded in death by his beloved Wife Mary Salda?a. Holy Rosary Recitation 7:30pm Wednesday, Remembrance Chapel-Mission Funeral Home (Cesar Chavez). Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 10:00am Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Richard Hall, O.M.I. celebrant. Committal services will follow at Santa Maria Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas. Special thanks and gratitude to Napolian Castilleja and staff of Barton Hills Assisted Living and Odyssey Health Care for their love, care and support given to our beloved father. Pallbearers; Josue Macias, Michael Mendoza, Paul Moreno, Cruz Moreno, Charles Moreno and Lucio Govea, III.
