Our beloved Arturo Rendon, age 54, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 4, 2005. Art leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Lisa Rendon; beautiful daughters, Lori and Michele Rendon, Linda Ann Elreda of Santa Barbara, CA; sons, Art Rendon Jr. and Eric Cazarez; The light of his life, his grandson, Gabriel Rolando Rendon and his precious grand baby Amaiya Sandoval and four special grand children, Lauryn Cazares, Angelina Rendon of Austin, Joe Valdez and Catherine Elreda, of Santa Barbara, CA; brother Lorenzo Rendon, of Austin; sisters, Dora Cabrera, Juanita Fontes, Mary Morales, Linda Mesa and Greicelda Gonzales all of Santa Barbara,CA.
Arturo also leaves behind extended family and friends who will truly miss him.
Preceded in death by his father Reynaldo Rendon, mother Juanita Rendon, brother Ramon Rendon and precious son Rolando Rendon.
Recitation of rosary Monday, 7:30 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel(South). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated, Tuesday 2:00 p.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Rev. Msgr. Tom Frank will officiate. Rite of interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Eric Cazares, Lorenzo Rendon Jr., Juan Esquivel Jr., Raul Rendon, Joe Rendon and Gilbert Cabrera. Honorary pallbearer is Gabriel Rolando Rendon.
