Gomez (Pato) resident of Austin was called to join his creator, our heavenly father on Tuesday April 5, 2005 at the age of 61. He was preceded in death by his parents Pablo and Elvira S. Gomez; brother Leandro S. Gomez, and nephew Joseph Romo. Survivors include: wife Carmen Gomez; brother Rick Gomez; sisters Mary Resendiz, Lucy Sanchez of California, Dolly Gomez, Patsy Lopez, Sylvia Ruiz, Josie Gomez, Pauline Renteria. Recitation of rosary Sunday, 7:00 p.m. at the Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel (South). Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday 10:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Rev. Msgr. Tom Frank will officiate. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are his nephews.
